MASTERING

Mastering is the final touch: the difference between a good mix and a record that's ready for the world. Using a mix of analog-style processing and modern digital tools, I finalize your track: setting proper volume, balancing highs and lows, shaping the stereo image, and making everything sound consistent and radio-ready.

Available for CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital release. Stereo and stem mastering both available.

What is mastering, really? Think of mixing as cooking the meal, and mastering as plating it. Once you're 100% happy with your final mix, mastering prepares it for the table — proper volume, balanced tone, a dynamic stereo image, and consistency from track to track.

Sending me your tracks If you only need mastering:

• Send a single stereo WAV file.

• Make sure there's no limiting on your mix bus.

• Leave around -6dBFS of headroom — nice and safe.

• No effects should be printed onto the final mix bus beyond what's intentionally part of the mix.

Turnaround As with mixing, timing depends on the project — allow from a week onwards. I'll confirm a realistic delivery estimate once I've had a listen. On a deadline? Email or call before sending your files so we can plan accordingly.
